I bought an Interrail ticket last year and 11.04.23 is the last day I can activate it. However, I can only start from 15.04.23 for three weeks.
Does it matter when I make my first trip after I activated the pass on 11. April? Or do I need to add a trip on that day?

You don't need to add a journey on the first day of the validity of your pass. What is important is that you activate you pass no later than the 11th of April and then put the start date to 11th of April.
