Departure to Geneva

I would like to travel only in France. So I would like to buy a three days pass for France. There is a border in Geneva where we can only take trains to go to France.

As we have to cross a border, I wonder if this part of the station is considered as Switzerland or already France?

Thank you

Geneva station is the border tariff point to France (in the direction of Bellegarde), which means that you can also use a one country pass for France from there.
