Device not compatible with Interrail app

Hello everyone ! 
 

I’m really hoping on someone that one day had the same problem I’m having

We are in the 21th century, so I thought that the email form of the pass would be the easiest. But…. My phone (iPhone SE 2016) is not compatible with the new version of the app. 
 

therefore I am just in the middle of nothing because in the end I don’t have any passes to present to the train people that control the tickets… 

What can I do ??

The Interrail T&Cs say that the pass requires iOS 16.0 or later, and that’s not possible on a 2016 iPhone SE. https://www.interrail.eu/en/interrail-passes/interrail-mobile-pass

Your options are to refund the pass (most passes are refundable, less a fee) or exchange it for a paper pass if you have time before your trip. Or to upgrade your phone. You should be able to get a secondhand iPhone 8 or later, or a suitable Android device, very cheaply.

The requirement has been iOS 16 since 6 January 2025 (iOS 15 before that), so I'm afraid ​@ralderton's options are the only ones you have.
