Difference between activation and validity

Hi my dear fellow interrailers,

I might have a kind of basic question, but as many others I don’t find my exact answer in the forum, so I’ll ask here: Last summer I bought a global flexi pass (5 days wihtin 1 month) and it says Activate by june 18th 2025. So that means I have to travel until the july 18th 2025, right? Because my plans have changed several times and I can’t travel until end of july.

If that’s not possible with my current pass, can I exchange it, or do I have to cancel it and buy a new one?

The latest possible start date is 18/6/2025, so the validity period will be until 17/7/25 (exactly one month).

If you'd like to travel later, then you'll have to exchange your pass. Check here how that works:
