Hi, me and my wife are planning to go to Europe this May. If for example I bought a 5 day Eurail Global Pass for a month and I went to London from Paris using eurostar in the morning and went back to Paris from London in late afternoon, would that only count for 1 day? Meaning I still have 4 day eurail pass left? Thank you.

Yes, but do not forget the quite high Supplmt/surcharge you have to pay for €*-in each direction!

You can board as many trains (that participate in this system) on a chosen/activated day-and if the last one is an overnight-can even sit it out till arrival next morning. So in theory you could even also use the Caledonian nighttrain to Scotland on same day!

I have once managed to use 10 different trains in 1 day-of course mostly fairly short rides.
