Hello, I have already purchased the Interrail pass, but for personal reasons I will finally not be able to make the trip I had planned for this August. I have read that I have 11 months from the moment of purchase to activate my Interrail pass, but that it can also be deactivated later. My question is whether I could activate the pass, for example, in November and deactivate it immediately afterwards so that I have 11 more months to go and be able to make my long-awaited trip in the summer of 2023 without my pass expiring and without losing my purchase. Thank you very much in advance.

No, you cannot prolong the time where you can use the pass in that way.
