4 people want to take a day trip from Amsterdam to Antwerp return. I only see 3+ day passes available. Is there a pass available for just 1 day for the round trip?

Thanks

Do not buy a Eurail Benelux Pass. It isn't worth the price for this journey.

There are 2 options :

- Thalys (high-speed train) Amsterdam Centraal - Antwerpen-Centraal 1h15 29€ one-way (tied to a specific train) bought a long time in advance

- IC Amsterdam Centraal - Antwerpen-Centraal 1h48 20.50€ one-way (valid for the whole day on any IC train) bought more than a week in advance

You can of course mix these options

This is a community dedicated to the Interrail and Eurail passes.

If you only want to do a day trip, then clearly a pass is not the right choice. You can book regular train tickets with the operators themselves. For Amsterdam-Antwerp, the best is to book through NS.

The Thalys high-speed trains are expensive, but the hourly intercity trains are OK. Booking at least 1 week in advance is cheapest. A return ticket is then €41 per person on Mon-Thu and €57 on Fri-Sun.
