Hello friends we are planning to book train tickets for below itenarary in Italy, would like to know if a one country pass would be good?

Travel period is last 2 weeks of march

2 adults+ 1 kid 9 years

Below journey plan over 2 weeks

Day 1

Rome termini to civitavecchia cruise port

Day 2

Back from port to Roma termini

Day 3

Rome to Naples

Day 4

Naples to Florence

Day 5

Florence to Milan

Day 6

Milan to Malpensa airport

All hotels that we are staying are close to main train stations

We are not sure if we should book individual tickets or just take a one country pass.

Also will having a one country pass save some money on seat reservation?

Seat reservations in Italy have a fixed price of €3 for intercity trains and €13 for Frecciarossa trains. regional trains don't have reservations.

You'll have to do the math yourself to see whether regular tickets are cheaper than a pas plus reservations. Fares of long-distance trains are dynamic, but are also not flexible for the cheapest fares.

Check regular fares on trenitalia.com.

I would be expect normal tickets to be cheaper. Rome to civitavecchia is a cheap journey. (If you take the regional train you are flexible and even cheaper at 5€)

The trip from Malpensa Airport to Milano is also not included with interrail as far as i am aware.
