Eurail sale traveller details step

I am assuming the 15 per cent off passes sale finishes at 2359 hours European time on Tuesday 1 April 2025.

When trying to purchase a paper pass, the purchase process won’t let me into ‘traveller details’ to complete all the steps to purchase. 

Is this because with the Australia-Netherlands time difference (0445 hours in the latter as I type), the site will only accept orders during normal business hours?

The sale is until midnight CET. You should be able to place an order at any time. I would guess that you haven't entered all the required information if you can't proceed to the next page.

Thanks AnnaB.  I have rechecked and confirmed that all the required information has been entered.

 

There may be a bug in the system?

Thanks: I’ve already contacted the help desk, but am attempting to purchase a new Global Eurailpass, so am not ‘currently travelling’.

AnnaB, I managed (by pretending to buy a mobile pass then switching back to a paper one) to get into the traveller details section, only to find that the site has been closed for maintenance.  Thank you for your assistance.

If you don't write that you are "currently travelling " you might not get help in time. If you just write that you will be travelling in the future your request will not have priority.

I can’t complete the transaction as it still says ‘system is down for maintenance’.

What time do you expect this to conclude and the site to become fully operable?
