Hello everyone! I will be traveling to Switzerland and Italy and was checking to see if 1 multiple days Eurail pass suffice for all travel within Switzerland. I plan to go from Zurich to Rome, to Florence and then Venice. Not sure if global pass will cover all the trains. Thank you in advance for your guidance!

The journeys you mention are covered by Eurail. For high speed trains in/to Italy, you will need some extra reservations.
For Eurail coverage in Switzerland, check this map. There are some lines where you only get a discount. For those lines, you don't need to use a travel day.

Additional: it depends on what you want to see in CH=Swiss and for how long. It seems your plans for IT are fixed and conform to the usual 1st timer. Swiss also offers its own Tourist Pass, cost a little more as EU-rail, but covers much more: also all other transit, in cities, the yellow postal buses and more mountain lines. PLus entry to museums and other places. You then simply book advance online on frecce.it or trenitalia the other trips In IT. Note that IN IT on these hi-speed lines there are also trains from a private competition=Italo, does not accept passes, may offer better timings or fares.
And replan your route: its better to do MIlano-Venezia-Firenze-ROma, this precents double back same way and from VNZ there are very restricted flites (assuming its your boarding point to go back?
