I am wishing to book a double sleeper on the European sleeper from Amsterdam to Berlin for 18 September. The schedule has just come out. It is showing no double sleeper availability with the eurail pass. Will availability for eurail open later, or are all of the allocations to eurail passes used already?

A double compartment is not private, so it should be bookable with Interrail.
AFAIK European sleeper doesn't have pass holder quota.
They do write: "Reservations with a Eurail or an Interrail Pass are not possible for private compartments. If you wish to book a private compartment, the normal rates apply.”
But a double is not private. You should ask them.
I apologize. I should have included that i am desiring to book 2 tickets, to be booked in a double compartment, for my wife and myself. She holds a Eurail pass as well. It does not allow me a double option using the Eurail pass discount. It only allows a Triple option using the Eurail pass. That is for the 18 Sept 2024 train. If i search on trains at the end of August, double reservations using Eurail passes are available.
