Can I exchange my 5-day interrail ticket for a 4-day interrail ticket? And if I exchange it, will I lose all my reservations?

You can exchange it. If you bought it on interrai.eu, this is how it works:

Basically, you first buy a new pass and then request a refund for the old one.

Your reservations are separate and will remain valid.
