Question

"For security reasons, we need to review your Plus Pass"?

I recently purchased a Global Plus Pass, which includes seat reservations. However, after making several seat reservations throughout my pass period, an error message started appearing when I tried to complete the "purchase," stating that Eurail needed to review my pass before making new seat reservations.

I've been trying to resolve this issue with support for 5 days without success (they say they are looking for a solution). Does this mean I'm unable to use a product I paid for? They say it's for safety reasons, but no one from support has clarified what those reasons are... I feel cheated.

Has anyone else experienced this? The days are passing and the seat availability is running out, and I'm unable to schedule my return trip to the airport to go home.

Is the problem only the ability to book reservations, or can't you use the pass either?

If it's just booking reservations, then just plan as normal and if the reservation problem isn't resolved, then pay for a reservation and claim the expenses back from customer service.

What reservation would you like to book? (Route, date, departure time)

Hello, and thank you for helping. Problem is with the reservations only. It can be a good idea, IF they do refund me, ofc.

I’ve never seen this before.

Have you done anything that would be in breach of the Fair Use Policy, like booking overlapping reservations?

https://plus.interrail.eu/en/pass-purchase-conditions#1775373236123736

Even so, 5 days is a long time to be left without a response or a useable pass.

Ralderton, thank you for helping me.
Well, now that you mention it, I did indeed make overlapping reservations due to a change of plans. I've already asked support to remove them already. Could this get me banned?!

@Eurail Community Moderator If overlapping reservations were the problem, then support should really be able to find out immediately and respond the same day what the problem is. It cannot be that nobody was able to find out.

Well, that’s true. No more answers from them on the last ~36 hours though
