Global Pass - date of activation?

I have a global pass (2-month). Does the 2 months begin to elapse from the moment I ‘activate’ the pass on the app? Or from the moment of my first trip?

The pass will be valid from the start date that you choose when you activate the pass. The advice is to wait with the activation until just before boarding the first train of the travel. Please read more below.
