Hi,

I’m from Italy and intend to make an interrail tour in Portugal and Spain. I will fly in to Portugal and fly out from Spain. Can I use my outbound and inbound travel days to travel within Spain/Portugal or are these only valid for travelling out of / in to Italy? To buy one-country-passes for Portugal and Spain doesn‘t make too much sense as at some point I will travel from Portugal to Spain…

Looking forward to receiving your advice,

Ursula

In/Out days are not additional days, they are just 2 days within the pass duration that you can also travel in your home country.

If you buy a 7 day in 1 month Global pass you can use the 7 days wherever in Europe you like. On any 2 of those days you can also travel in your home counrtry if you wish.

On 2 of your travel days, you can also travel in your country of residence. They're not extra travel days.

You should do the maths to see if a pass is worth it.
