Global pass valid in Great Britain

Is the Global Pass valid in Great Britain or not? I find a lot of conflicting information on this and when I contacted Avanti West Coast customer support to ask for reservations they denied that Interrail passes are valid on the train.

How do I tell whether we can travel in Great Britain or not and how do I reserve seats? Eurail support is not responding to the question.

Interrail IS valid in GB. The RDG press release is outdated and should be removed. RDG's decision was reversed one day after its publication. You could tell Avanti they can check with the RDG if they want to know for sure. Reservations are not mandatory for Avanti (or most British trains); also, once you're in GB, you can make reservations for any train at any ticket office.

Please ask questions in the community and not via a private message. That's the quickest way to get a response. I don't work for Eurail/Interrail.

As @rvdborgt  said UK is still in the Pass Validity area :) i could reserve many seats quite easy via Facebook or Twitter they may ask for a Photo of your pass :)

I´ am not working for Eurail or Interrail i just share my knowledge here. Please ask in the Community and not via private message as this is the fastest way to get an answer. I prefer English/German/ Czech for my answers. In case of Reservationquestions please share some details like Route, Date, Trainnumber as otherwise we can just provide general advices or answers
