Go online to keep pass active

Hi. Me and my girlfriend have all our trains booked and reservations bought. My app popped up and said I must go online to keep my pass active. Does anyone know what this means?

The app with an active pass needs to be online at least every 72 hours. If not, the pass will be inactive and you can't use it anymore until the app has been online again.

If you haven't started your trip yet: there's no need to activate your pass in advance. You can deactivate the pass (you can do that from My Pass) until the day you start your trip and then activate it.

The app requires an internet connection at least once every 3 days, it will not show your pass without this.
