Greek Islands pass

Hi.
We would like to travel soon (1 week+) with the Greek Islands Interrail pass.
Unfortunately the 6 days pass only exists in paper option and won’t be mailed on time for departure.
Do you know how easy it is to get it directly from a train station in France/ Italy the day of departure, and if we can book the international ferry crossing with Anek without actually having the paper pass yet ?
