I have not seen any price-changes. I guess you yourself made the mistake and confused 2 and 3 month. 541 is indeed for senior/3-month.
I doubt that the price will have changed. Are you sure that you have looked at the same type of pass on both occasions?
541 EUR is the price for a senior 1st class for 3 months with 50 % discount
