Help counters at stations

Do larger train stations, in particular Santiago de Compostela have  Eurail help desks or counters?

Especially the very first day of my Pass travels.

I am terrified I won't be able to activate my pass and/or toggle my journeys to the day pass.

You can test the activation in advance if you want. Choose a start date in the future, and check that it works. After that, you can cancel the activation until the day you start your trip.

Hi Sharon,

Unfortunately, we do not offer help desk support in the train stations. Feel free to start a conversation with our chatbot. It’s in the bottom-right corner of the interrail webpage. If the chatbot can't help, one of our team members will be happy to take over the conversation and assist you.

Hope this helps!

I believe a travel day is activated/starts when the Pass is  activated. Does this travel day get deactivated when the Pass is deactivated?

Thanks for your help.

If you activate a flexi pass (X days within 1 or 2 months), a travel day is not activated automatically if you activate a pass.

If you cancel the activation of a pass, then any activated travel days are also deactivated.

Do note that cancelling activation is only possible as long as the validity period has not started yet. This is true for the pass itself and also for a travel day. Validity always starts at midnight.

“Do note that cancelling activation is only possible as long as the validity period has not started yet”

In other words do not under any circumstances run your test with todays date or it won’t be a test, it will be reality.
