How critical is it to have included middle names on passes or seat reservations? First and last are correct, but middle names were not included when booked.

The ticket inspectors don't care about middle names. Some people only have one given name and others have 3, 4 or more given names so it's no use trying to fit them all in. As long as first and last names are correct, you're fine.
