Hi, I need a cover number so I can make train reservations. Can it start by IN and be followed by 8 digit numbers ? That’s what I received in a mail from interrail just after I paid for my interrail. But ot doesnt satisfy Deutsche Bahn...

DB (bahn.com) don't need any pass number to make reservations.

The pass number of a mobile pass consists of 6 alphanumeric characters and is in the confirmation mail.

The pass cover number of a paper pass consists of a capital letter i and 8 digits. It’s on the cover of the pass.

The number starting with IN is your order number.
