We live in Germany and would like to travel from Como to Vienna. The RJX 165 from Zurich to Vienna passes Germany at Rosenheim without stopping there. Is this a journey through my home country (Inbound Journey)?

no it is not because it goes via Germany but it is for railway fares inside Austria. Check if the app counts or not as an Inbound/Outbound. If yes, add your trip manually in the app.
