Hello everyone,

I recently bought a interrail ticket and asked my ID/passport number. Instead of the ID/Passport number I gave my document number, is that a problem?
kind regards,

Sam

What do you mean by "document number”? Of what document is that?

In any case, the Interrail pass should be linked to an ID, usually passport or ID card.

In your passport there is a “document number” and an “ID/ Passport number”. So I used the “document number “instead of the “ID/passport Number” (in Dutch known as BSN). But I guess it doesn’t matter because your document number is also linked to your identity right?

Het documentnummer (amper leesbaar overigens) is in dit geval correct inderdaad.

BSN (heet bij mij "persoonsnummer”) moet je zeker niet gebruiken.
