What if a train connection is not available on the interrail app? Can I add the train connection myself or do I have to pay for this train connection?

If the train still is missing when you are about to board the train you can add the train manually to the app.
Usually, even if the train is missing now, it will be there when you are about to travel, if you have updated the app with the latest version.
