Hi!

i heard today that your interrail ticket is not valid anymore if you travel back to the country where you started.. (basicly your home country) is this true? And does that mean you have to travel to all your destinations in a row?

No.

In Home country you are allowed 2 trips (OUT and INbound). ON the new style mobile passes even 2 days-but the larger countries with high trainfares state that you have to take a direct route to the borderpoint where you want to cross.

If you have a longer time pass and want f.e. make 2 different trips: then to go OUT and IN for 3 and 4 you must pay tickets IN that country=till border by yourself. Or use bus, plane, walk, whatever.

Pass does NOT finish automatic when you have done the INbound and still have days to travel left.
