Is rail planner compulsory for travelling i have eurrail pass i have seat reservation tickets and pass activated qr code but didnt added journey in rail planner app will i be in problem

Is it compulsory for travelling to use the rail planner app?
To be able to travel, you will need to look up the journey, add it to My Trip and then to My Pass. Only then a barcode ticket will be generated. All trains you use need to be added to My Pass.
