I’ll ride a nightjet from venezia to salzburg at 21:48 to 04:04 and it’s direct.

and the day passes when I’m in the train.

Does this count as two days or one day??

Any journey on a single train that starts before midnight counts as a single day, it doesn’t matter how far into the next day it lasts.
