Milan to Tirano using global pass

I am assuming seat reservation not required between Milan and Tirano for global pass holders. Can you please confirm?

Regional trains (except in Spain) don't have seat reservations. Simply hop on and sit wherever you want.

The front part will probably be less busy as people will board from the rear in Milan.
