I’m from Austria and planing to travel from Salzburg to Germany. If i remember correctly, there were some problems with the mobile pass and border station within the country of residence. Will i have problems with the mobile pass and choosing Salzburg as beginning station or is this problem already solved? (As a one country pass doesn’t include the home country) Or is there any work around?

I have no idea if they solved this problem for Salzburg, but some stations work already.
If in your case there is a problem with Salzburg HBF (in austria, but for train fares in Austria and Germany) you can add the trip manually in the app and but Salzburg as Germany.

All trains you use have to be added n the added, from the planner or manually.
