I have already purchased my Eurail Global Pass, and it is linked to my Trip in the Rail Planner app. Also I made seat reservations for my train journeys using the ÖBB (Austrian Railways) app as I will be travelling during a busy time. Now that I’m trying to add those trips to Rail Planner app, I noticed that these specific journeys do not appear in the search.
I want to ensure that these reserved trips are still valid under my Eurail Pass, and that I won’t encounter any issues during ticket inspection.
Could you please clarify:

Is it acceptable to manually add journeys to the Rail Planner app if they don’t appear in the search results — as long as the travel matches the reservation and is covered by the pass?

Will manually adding these trips ensure I’m compliant with the pass usage rules and protected from any penalties while traveling?

Are there any steps I should take to ensure my trips are valid on the days I travel (e.g., toggling them into the pass for the travel day)?
