Hello! I want to travel to Italy with the One Country Pass. I've just read that the pass is only valid on trains within Italy. Does that mean I have to pay for a separate private train ticket for a train journey from Germany to Italy? Thanks for your help!

Yes, you'll have to pay to get to Italy. Or you buy a global pass instead.
