Online-App. How does it connect information?
Seat reservations and app are totally separate.
On the app you log all trains you'd like to take, whether they have mandatory reservations or not. This can be done at any time prior to boarding.
Whenever asked on the train show both the app (QR-code, your ticket) and the PDF (reservation).
