My outbound trip (Amsterdam NL - Bern Switzerland) leaves in the evening after 20.00. In My Trip the app gives the trip to Basel seperately from Basel - Bern. I can switch the part Amsterdam - Basel to count as a travel day. When I add the part Basel - Bern the app counts another day, That is not what I want. How do I solve this?

But this is correct as you change trains after midnight you need a second travelday :)
Travelday 1 Amsterdam - Basel
Travelday 2 Basel - Bern :)
If you wanna avoid one of the traveldays you have to pay for the tickets or use other means of transport :)
You need a active travelday when you get onboard :)
You could stay on the train till Zürich instead of Basel as Zürich is the final stop. with Travelday 1 :)

This train runs on to ZÜrich. Change plans maybe if you want to save days-rearrange it or whatever. Normal tix in CH are super-expensive.
