Outbound/Inbound rule

Hey everyone,

my country of residence is Germany and I want to travel through Spain, France and Austria. I will start in Sevilla and I wanted to take the night train from Paris to Vienna. I will be traveling through Germany, but I won’t get off the train. Will it still count as an Inbound and Outbound trip?

Kind regards,

Leoni

Yes, it will. With a mobile pass, that will use one of your 2 inbound/outbound journeys.

Ok, thank you! And with a paper pass?

Formally, it seems to use both of the inbound and outbound journeys. But you might get away with using just one...

Just pretend that your home is in Freilassing or Passau or so…..

I m german. I ve booked 7 travel days. 4 days I ve used already. At the sixth travel day I will travel back to Germany. Is it possible to use the seventh travel day if I travel then only abroad? Thanks for helping. Couldn't find any answer to this question at the Support side. Thanks. Markus
