Do I need to book journeys in sequence of travel? For example outbound journey is Glasgow to London then Eurostar to Amsterdam. Eurostar tickets harder to get so should I book this first? Easier to get train for the first leg.

View originalYes, BUT as you have only 2 traveldays allowed IN country, you have to do all the trip on 1 day. In fact Avanti/west coast does not need to be res to L, or you can use eastcoast-change EDin too. Indeed €* is hardest leg to book-so this is a smart thought.
But mind the strike days=that populair british acitivity in transprot.
You can book reservations in any order that suits you best. And yes, check Eurostar as soon as you can.
