I land in Frankfurt. I eventually go on a river/bike cruise on Danube River from Passau. Can Global pass be used to get from Frankfurt to Passau?

Of course. There are direct trains, too (takes about 4 and a half hour).

Thanks Hektor. Can I presumably also get from Passau to Munich and then to Lake Starnberg to do the King Ludwig way hike? The hike gets you to Fussen, and plan would be to get to Heidelberg from Fussen. Doable?

Passau to München is about 2 hours, München to Starnberg 34 minutes.
Füssen to Heidelberg is about 4 and a half hour.
