Buenas!
The journey Berlin - Florencia will require 2 days on your pass because you are starting the second train on the second day in Venice.
Every day (00.00-23.59 CE(S)T) when you board a train will be a travel day. As you changes trains in Florence on the arrival day of the night train, then that is a new travel day.
What type of pass do you have?
What exactly is your problem?
Can you post a screen shot of your Trip? Remove all personal details.
Yes we know that! But when we booked it they count it as a one day trip. From Amsterdam (19:40) to Berlin (06:15 from the next day) it was the same case and it count it us as an only trip. That’s why we do not understand.
The pass shows that you have used all your 5 travel days. This means that you need to buy normal tickets for your return home.
If you add screen shots of your Trip there should be journeys on 5 different dates.
Yes we know that. The problem is that at the beggining of the journey the app showed us all the correct trips. But right now, the app shows us this. We would like to know how is this possible and what can we do. If we had known this, we would have bougth a pas with more trips. But as we already said, before starting the trip it was all alright.
How many travel days that are needed for a certain route depends on what trains you take and when you travel. The same route can be either 1 or 2 travel days.
The number of travel days needed is easy to calculate as, you already know, every day when you board a train counts.
The planning and calculation of travel days you always have to do yourself before you buy the pass.
You can't do anything about this now as you have used all your travel days. You just need to see what the cheapest way for the rest of your travel is. Either to buy normal tickets or to buy a 4 day global pass.
Interrail counts all the trains you start between 0000 and 2359 as one travel day. If you take an overnight train starting before 2359 it sits in that travel day. Once you leave that train any onward trains come from a new travel day as they started after 0000.
I assume your first overnight journey didn’t have any further train rides that day, hence only counting as one day.
