Problems with my Pass not showing (DiscoverEU)

Hello, I'm currently on the train with my friends, starting Interrail with my Interrail Global Pass, which I got through the DiscoverEU program. I can't find a way to show the QR code for my pass to the ticket inspector. It doesn't appear in either the DiscoverEU app or the Interrail Planner app. This is very serious and worrying, as I'll have to show my pass on all the trains I've already booked, and it won't let me enter it on my phone, either in the DiscoverEU app or the Interrail Planner app.

 

For more context: I originally had my pass on the DiscoverEU app, but in order to make train reservations, it asked me to enter my pass on the Interrail Planner website, where I made all my reservations. And right now, I can't enter the pass on my phone in the DiscoverEU app. I have my pass code and all the confirmation and activation emails, and everything I've done with DiscoverEU so far.

You should use the DiscoverEU app.

Please explain where exactly you are stuck:

  1. Did you add the pass in the DiscoverEU app?
  2. Did you add your journey to My Trip?
  3. Have you added at least 1 journey for today to you pass? (by toggling the journey in My Trip).
  4. In My Pass, is the button "Show ticket” visible?
  5. In My Pass, can you see that 1/7 travel day has been used?
  6. What happens if you tap on "Show ticket”?

It would be helpful if you could post a screenshot of any error message or of where you are stuck.

You should use the DiscoverEU app.

1. Yes, I added it a year ago when I received my Pass and also set an estimated travel date to activate it.

2. No, I haven't added any of my trips to My Trip because, since I added My Pass on the Interrail website, it disappeared from my DiscoverEU app. I also didn't know I had to do this when I booked all the trains from the Interrail Planner website, and "My Pass" didn't appear in the DiscoverEU app.

3. I haven't been able to, as there's no way to "Add a Pass" in the DiscoverEU app.

 4. No, because I just tried installing and uninstalling the DiscoverEU App and the "My Pass" section has disappeared. Unbelievable :(

5. I can't see anything about my pass because nothing currently appears in the DiscoverEU app.

6. I can't do that because when I add a trip to "My Trip," it says "Not connected to a Mobile Pass."

I'm very worried about the upcoming trains I've booked. I really appreciate the help.

That doesn't sound right. This looks like a bug.

Please ask help from the DiscoverEU team here:

Include in your message that you are travelling NOW and that My Pass has disappeared from the app.

You could also try the online chat there. Not sure how you can get a human instead of the chatbot.

Do keep in mind that you have to enter all trains in the DiscoverEU app.

Also remember that, in the app:

A trip is a collection of journeys and can be connected to exactly one pass.

A journey can contain one or more trains.

Hi, I’ve had the same problem on the same day. When I oopen hte DIscover Eu app, the My Pass section has disappeared. I am in the same conditions as the other person: I activated my pass in january, and had alreay created my trip. How can I solve this? WHen I try to add the pass again on the app it tells me that it is being used on another device, but I don’t have another phone and I didn’t use it on my computer. Does anyone have a solution for this?
