Hey guys,
My Friend and I are actually in London with Interrail Globalpass. Yesterday, we wanted to go by thameslink, we added the correct train to our journey and pass, but the gate did not accept the QR Code. We also wanted to go by overground but there were no QR Code scanners at all (a.e. West Hamstead). What should we do know?

you have to go to the staff at the gates, they will let you go throw.

And this applies to ANYwhere in the whole of GB-by now about all main stations-and nearly all in the London area-have gates. In fact many local tickets are also not recognised by these gates-its an utmost antique ´revenue protecting´system-not helped by the myriad of ticketing options that exist in GB.

ONLY in NL (and it is said now some parts of FR) do gates that can read codes directly a pass. The good nws is that tehre are very few countries that have gates.

And in Italy.
