You could also get a 1 month pass, which is €130 cheaper. If you’re going to spend a few days each in Amsterdam and Rome, then it might be worth buying the cheaper pass. Depending on your itinerary, it could work well (maybe you need to buy one or two separate train tickets at the start and end of your journey).
But if you want the one that covers your whole trip, it would need to be the 2 month pass.
