Question About Direct Trains Not Shown in Rail Planner App

We plan to travel round-trip from Amsterdam to Düsseldorf using a Eurail Global Pass.

When we check the Rail Planner app, the travel time is shown as about 4 hours with transfers. However, on the official DB website, a direct train is shown with a travel time of about 2 hours. The results are very different.

Since we are required to show the QR code in the Rail Planner app when boarding, we would like to ask:
Are we allowed to take the direct train that does not appear in the Rail Planner app, or can we only use the trains shown in the app?

Thank you very much for your assistance.

Kind regards,

You can take any train covered by the pass, regardless of whether it appears in the app. The app is incomplete, often not up to date and unreliable, which is why you should never use it to plan. Normally, it will have been updated by the time you travel. If not, you can any missing train manually.
