Hello,

I recently learned that Interrail experienced a data breach. Luckily, my passport has now expired. However, I have a new passport, and I would like to know whether I need to update my account with the new passport details.

Could you please let me know where I can update this information? I cannot seem to find where to update my passport details.

Also, I am wary of providing my passport details again and wonder what steps they have taken to secure our confidential data.

There is no field in your account where you can update your passport information. It's just that you need to enter your passport number when you buy a paper pass, or when you activate a mobile pass.

I did notice that the mobile pass now only shows the last 3 characters of the passport number.

Hello, would that mean I will update my passport number when I activate my ticket on the day of departure?

It is concerning that when I attempted to change the email, the system did not allow it, which appears incorrect given their responsibility for safeguarding my data.
