When using the app to search for a train, I inputted May 5th as our departure date for an overnight trip where we're expected to arrive on May 6th (Paris to Barcelona) However, upon selecting a trip the dates of the trip display May 6th to May 7th. We're having a hard time figuring out why that is, and how we can find the correct trip. I attached a series of photos to show what I'm seeing. Notice the shift in dates from my search to the selected option (which should be a departure on May 5 and an arrival on May 6).

This is probably due to the time zone you're in. The same problem has been reported by travellers from Australia. You can try by changing your device to using 24 hours instead of AM/PM.

 


Also, the rail planner app is not very reliable. If you're looking for an allround international train timetable planner, then go to bahn.com or the DB Navigator app.
