"Return your pass" button not available for pass still eligible for refund

I have an unactivated pass whose last possible activation date was in November. I bought it in December 2024 under refund policy version 7, which provides for a 6 month period after last possible activation date to request a refund. I had purchased the Refund protection option which allows for a total refund except the cost of the option. Yet when I go to the respective order’s details page, the “Return your pass” button is not there, unlike for more recent passes that I bought on 17 December this year. How to request the refund?

Answer from the customer service:

"Due to a recent security update, it is no longer possible for customers to refund their Passes if they were purchased before 2025, even if they are eligible for one."

However, the customer service then proceeded to the refund manually and promptly, without me having to take any further step. So the way to do it is via the customer support contact form and indicating the reference of the pass to be refunded.
