I’m trying to make seat reservations via the oebb website and no matter which date I use the website tells me NO SEATS AVAILABLE. Is there any other way to reserve a seat?

The ÖBB website is currently experiencing some issues. Try again in a day or two.

Otherwise, have a look at this guide: https://www.seat61.com/interrail-and-eurail-reservations.htm

Feel free to mention route and travel date here too.

Thanks for the sift response. I’m having trouble getting seat reservations for the following routes:

Budapest - Lljulljiana

Lljulljiana - Zagreb

Zagreb - Split

We are planning to do these trips between the 1st and the 8th of August. On the interail website it states that tickets are only available within 60 days of travelling. In the meantime I shall check out the seat51 website.

AFAIK the timetable isn't final yet, so reservations can't be booked yet.

Lljulljiana - Zagreb

Reservations are not needed, but if you want one, then you should book at a Slovenian ticket office.

Zagreb - Split

Reservations are not available online and can only be booked at a Croatian ticket office or via e-mail at rezervacije@hzpp.hr.

What the Interrail website says about this is often not very accurate and may or may not be correct. In addition, a booking horizon should always be taken as "from xx days in advance”, because it can always be shorter for various reasons.
