Is the senior pass valid for travel in Germany. In the terms and conditions it states:” The senior category is not available for the Eurail or Interrail German rail pass”.

A Global Pass is definitely valid.
There's just no version of the One-country pass Germany for seniors so you'd have to get an adult one.
