Hi. We are travelling next Thursday (4th June) using iterrail-M passes through a travel agent. I have loaded all the pass details onto my phone for us both but not activated either yet. Can I copy this to the other phone as backup then activate them if my phone gets lost or dies?

What is the procedure if I have t activate the passes on the other phone?

A pass can be on one phone only. You can however move an activated pass to another phone once by yourself.

Thanks for the rapid response. There are two passes on my phone, one for me , the other for my travelling companion. Would it be easier to have one on each phone then if necessary, transfer the missing one to the other phone?

That might indeed be easier. If you have them on separate phones, you will also be able to travel independently. You may not plan that, but you never know.

Hallo! I have actually the same doubt and I was wondering:  wouldn’t be safer if I register both the passes on my phone, and then I give my companion my username and password to get into my Interrail account ? In this way, if one of us looses their mobile, the other has aready access to both the passes  …

Thanks in advance for your advice!

You don't need to log into your Interrail account to be able to use your pass. Logging in in the app is only useful if you booked reservations on the Interrail website, that will then also be visible from within the app.

Ah, ok, thanks, I got it all wrong then! I need to understand better how It works… tomorrow I'll start with registering my pass on my mobile :)

That means however that there is no chance to get both passes visible and accessible on both mobiles, isn't there?

That is correct. A pass can only be on one phone at a time.
