If my smartphone is stolen during my trip with my pass and I have to buy regular tickets, will these also not be refunded?

With a police report that my smartphone was stolen.

The information is on the Inrerrail website. You will not get a refund for tickets that you need to buy if your phone gets stolen.

You could keep the receipts and try your travel insurance for the phone and incidental costs, but it is probably excluded somewhere in the small print plus your excess.

Just take all the care you can to protect your phone and make sure you have all the resources you need if the worst happens.

Interrail really should look for a backup process for lost. stolen or broken phones that doesn’t involve an e-mail and knowing your pass number and finding a second device.
