Spain train schedules?

Hi

I am using the Trip Planner function but it looks like only some of the train routes are showing up. For example, many trips from North Spain to the South have me routed through Zaragoza but on a detailed train map, there seem to be much more direct routes.

Is the rail pass limited to the routes that show up on the Trip Planner?

Thanks

Not all trains where Interrail is valid show up correctly in the interrail timetable. If a valid train does not show up in the timetable of the railplanner app you can add it manually. I attached a Screenshot from the interrail railplanner app where it lists the included ones.

Also if you look to far in advance the train timetable may not be complete yet.

That's certainly not the case. Some trains, or entire regions are missing but the pass is still valid.

What routes are you looking at? From Barcelona towards the South you'll often be routed through Zaragoza as that is by far the fastest option.
